NKL has been supplying products
in large volumes to about 600 customers in the electronic industry with the
experience in Europe since 1979 and in Izmir since 1991. Besides, it has
been servicing with its EMC Laboratory for measurement/test and
troubleshooting activities. Our customer satisfaction is our highest
priority by offering competent consultation, a continuous further
development of our quality management system, on-time delivery and
competitive pricing.
Our company is a manufacturing
establishment that produces components for the Electromagnetic Interference
Suppression. It has been established in Yenisehir - Izmir in 1991, and moved
to Aegean Free Zone in 1993. It has been producing electronic components to
many sectors, like manufacturing of electrical and electronic household
goods as well as machinery, and it exports almost all of its products to
Germany.
The founder of the company, Mr.
Klaus Lorenzen, has been involved in interference suppression and EMC since
the mid-sixties, initially as the head of an EMC Test Laboratory in
Stuttgart, then, as the managing director and joint owner of another
manufacturer of inductive components. During these activities, his special
gift and experience for the development of practical interference
suppression solutions as well as for the designing and production of
inductive components which have meanwhile been patented soon became obvious.
In 1979, he established the NKL
GmbH in Gaildorf near Stuttgart. The modest beginning of the company soon
expanded, until the production area became too small for more than 40
employees. NKL GmbH, which provides a production in larger scales within its
premises that built to a surface area of 4000 square meter were built in a
free trade zone in 1991, certified the quality management according to ISO
9001 to document its high demand on quality in 1998.
At the end of 1998, Mr. Lorenzen
has handed over the lead to his son, Dipl.-Eng. Uwe Frank Lorenzen, and he took over the
management of NKL Elektronik San. ve Tic. Ltd. Sti. located in Izmir.
After loosing Mr. Klaus Lorenzen
suddenly, by September 17, 2006; Mr. Uwe F. Lorenzen has taken over the leadership of NKL Ltd. for putting it forward.
The
Importance of European Norms and the CE Subject under Discussion
Many
electrical and electronic devices that are well known in our day, have
interference emission to the environment and are affected from the
environmental interferences, therefore they cannot fulfill their functions
completely. Moreover, most well known units that generate noise, are
electronic switches, thyristors, commutator motors, SMPS', transmitters, RF
Generators in addition to the noise comes from the mains network.
The
CE Subject under discussion gains importance in this point, because
according to this subject, selling of electrical and electronic devices
which has interference emissions and immunity levels above a certain limit,
is forbidden. (C) 2007
